We aim to deliver safe and sustainable projects and services for our clients in different fields.This job offers an exciting and technically advanced approach to value added quality control on a wide range of EPC projects.ResponsibilitiesWhat makes you remarkable?Perform control / instrument system and / or field instrument engineering and designing activities required in projectsBe able to recommend and supervise for field instrument and cable installation e.g., material take off list, detail field instrument station support, cable tray and tray support, tubing and fitting designBe able to recommend and supervise for local control panel, marshaling cabinet and control system cabinet installation, termination and wiringBe able to recommend and supervise for simple logic control system e.g., relay base logic or small package PLC unitBe able to select explosive protected equipment as per hazardous area classificationBe able to participate in technical clarification, and technical bid evaluationBe able to prepare material take off within project timelineBe able to participate and supervise FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, and the commissioning work of instrument item to comply with the applicable specifications, procedures, codes and standardsBe able to prepare scope of work for constructionQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related fieldMin 8 years’ experience in oil and gas industry. However, experience in petrochemical industry also can be proposed for considerationExperience for at least 3 projects in brownfield project and modification workExpertise in PID control design, loop diagram, instrument control, PLC, DCS, instrument specificationExpertise in engineering design for Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Fire and Gas (F&G) systemExpertise in instrument engineering document and drawing package e.g., conceptual design, detail engineering, instrument index, instrument data sheet, cable schedule, loop diagram, hook up drawingAdditional experience in construction or commissioning is preferableHard worker, well organized, proactive, high leadership, teamwork attitude and problem solving in a timely mannerFlexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can - do attitude and a desire to winPossess good interpersonal skills with excellent English communication skillsAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
