Senior Corporate Accountant

Our client is a well-established international corporate and trust business, with a long-standing history in providing a consistent and personal service to a large portfolio of international clients.We are looking to find a Senior Accountant to join their local team.The company offer a healthy work life balance, mainly office based working to maintain a strong team (but with flexibility), and growth opportunities in a sustainable, stable business.You’ll work closely with your clients, support them as a trusted partner in their business and future strategies.They pride themselves on building meaningful professional relationships and long-term commitment that their clients value.Responsibilities will include:Managing the full accounting activity for a portfolio of holding company and financing company structuresLiaise with various internal stakeholders (CoSec, Senior Management etc…) as well as external providers (audit firms…) to ensure your portfolio of files are accuratePrepare and review monthly/quarterly reporting and annual accounts for your clientsHave regular contact with your clients, getting to know their portfolios and what’s important to them, develop a relationship enabling you to understand their priorities and investment goalsPreparation of CIT and VAT declarationsPreparation of subscription tax declarationsEnsures compliance with law and regulationsWill work in close cooperation with the legal/corporate team.To be considered, you’ll have:A minimum 8 years of accounting experienceA Master’s degree in accounting or financeProven experience within financial / trust accountingUnderstand what is behind the investment structures and how/why certain accounting or reporting processes are requiredGood knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, knowledge of securitisation is a plusIdeally have good Excel skillsStrong verbal and written English (French is advantageous)
