xDo you want to work with some of the world’s most famous pharmaceutical brands in one of the world’s leading healthcare companies? We are looking for an experienced trademark attorney to join our organization as lead on our brand protection efforts.Your new roleIn this role you will be responsible for successful implementation and operation of our ambitious brand protection strategy. You will work together with trademark colleagues in Denmark, India and US to ensure that we deploy our brand protection efforts in an effective and collaborative manner. You will work with internal stakeholders from many different functions to ensure that our brand protection activities are well-aligned and address concrete business needs. You will work with external law firms and service providers to ensure that we have a high-quality and cost-efficient response to trademark infringement.Key accountabilities include:Online monitoring and trademark enforcement across marketplaces, websites, apps and social media platforms.Domain name trademark enforcement, including UDRP proceedings and cybersquatting disputes.Enforcement in cases of trademark-infringing parallel trade.Advice and support to Novo Nordisk regions/affiliates across the globe in local trademark enforcement actions. Building awareness about trademark risks and opportunities within the organization. Your new departmentYou will be a key part of a high-performing team consisting of both patent and trademark attorneys. The team is located in Bagsværd, Denmark and is part of a global IP organization with colleagues situated in Denmark, India, China, Switzerland and US. The IP organization is part of the broader legal organization that consist of more than 300 colleagues and has a presence in more than 40 locations around the globe.Your Skills And QualificationsYou hold a law degree with minimum 6 years of post-graduation trademark experience either from a law firm or as in-house counsel at an international company, preferably with focus on trademark enforcement in the pharmaceutical industry.To thrive and succeed, you would need the following:Strong legal trademark enforcement capabilities combined with business acumen, allowing you to independently drive brand protection activities that generate clear business value.Well-developed business partnering skills, including a proactive approach to understanding stakeholder needs, allowing you to efficiently build networks within the company and position yourself as a key business partner.Appetite for developing processes and workflows, allowing you to fine-tune our brand protection operating model.Project management skills, including the ability to drive multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a structured manner, and to take a strategic approach to risk management and prioritisation.Working at Novo NordiskEvery day we seek the solutions that defeat serious chronic diseases.
