With over 60 offices globally, a wide-ranging portfolio across sectors, and continuous double-digit year-over-year revenue growth, your opportunities to make your mark are limitless.About the RoleAs a Cost Manager in our Dublin team, you will provide expert-level cost consultancy and project support for construction projects across various stages and sectors—from concept design to construction completion. You will be responsible for delivering estimates, procurement advice, and post-contract administration, working independently or managing a team, depending on project size and scope.You will partner with a diverse set of clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional value, acting as a trusted advisor and helping to ensure successful project outcomes. This is your chance to lead, influence, and help shape the built environment across Ireland and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, interpret, and prepare cost estimates across all stages of design and construction.Provide procurement advice, contractor tender analysis, and recommendation reports.Lead and manage client accounts, including attending key meetings and providing strategic input.Review contracts and participate in contract negotiations.Evaluate change orders and contractor pricing throughout the project lifecycle.Manage contract administration activities and support construction phase cost controls.Deliver continuous cost management services, including value engineering and cashflow forecasting.Prepare and review project plans, fee proposals, and internal resourcing plans.Support senior management with client reporting, performance tracking, and commercial input.Mentor and develop junior cost consultants and commercial managers within the team.Represent Cumming Group at industry events, with a focus on business development and network building.What You BringEducation: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 5 years in cost consultancy or quantity surveying, ideally within a professional services environment.Professional Accreditation: MRICS, AssocRICS, or equivalent chartered status (or working towards).Strong knowledge of construction technology, local procurement and tendering practices, and Irish standard forms of contract (RIAI, GCCC).Understanding of construction law, tax implications, insurance, and delivery methodologies in the Irish market.Excellent commercial awareness and experience delivering projects across a range of sectors.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.Confidence in managing multiple priorities and delivering under pressure in a dynamic work environment.Why Join Cumming Group?When you join our team, you become part of a business that invests in people, values diversity, and celebrates innovation.
