Job DescriptionWould you like to join us to build a new team that will contribute towards Danske Bank’s growth strategy? If you are skilled at analytical work and enjoy building relationships, this position could be the one for you! About Credit Advisory Danske Bank is pursuing ambitious growth and is evolving its approach by establishing a new role within Credit & Advisory. We are looking for an experienced Credit Advisor to join our new Credit Advisory team within Business Customers for SME/MidCorp, focusing on complex credit assignments and transaction-driven financing within the Business Customer segment. We focus primarily on complex, high-value credit cases and acquisition financing, where our involvement is typically event- or relationship driven, while still maintaining responsibility for selected large, ongoing customer relationships.This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of credit risk and strategic customer advisory, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counter parties.Your Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Credit Advisor, you will play a crucial part in evaluating, structuring, and managing complex credit assignments for our business customers. By doing so you will support the business unit in delivering on the Forward’28 strategy ambitions. Responsibilities will include transaction-based and some portfolio-based engagements with both existing and potential clients. You will take a leading role in preparing credit applications for decision-making and submission to the 2nd Line Credit team. Your focus will be to lead the credit process by preparing complex cases for approval and ensuring their submission to the appropriate credit team. This position involves working with more complex issues and senior colleagues. Our plan is to grow and enhance the quality of our frontline operations. You will: Gather and consolidate all relevant information and documentation regarding customers’ financial situations and needs, including participation in client meetings  Conduct credit scenarios through financial analysis and forecasting, risk assessments, rating applications, price calculations, and other relevant evaluations  Monitor and follow up on specific credit cases, maintaining ongoing involvement with major customer relationships  Assemble the right team of specialists to ensure input and guidance for key stakeholders in credit-related matters .This is a highly analytical role, requiring the ability to comprehend complex information, extract key points, and present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. You will work closely with the relationship team, participate in client meetings as needed, and maintain strong collaboration with the 2nd Line Credit team, which is responsible for the credit framework and endorsement of credit applications. Typical stakeholders include Relationship Managers, 2nd Line Credit, product areas, and clients. What  We Are Looking For: We are searching for candidates who demonstrate solid critical thinking and analytical skills pair with consultative sales style and project management abilities. In this role effective stakeholder management is essential where you can engage meaningful dialogues with customers and make fact-based decisions. The ideal candidate, demonstrate stability and resilience with the ability to challenge, negotiate, and communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external customers.  Open-mindedness and an attentive listening style are critical, all while maintaining unwavering integrity. We are looking for a candidate who brings:Corporate banking background in working directly with customers either as a relationship manager or as a credit officer. Minimum 7 years of experience.
