The Job SummaryThe Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for providing support in safeguarding AAGC digital assets and data from cyber threats by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing cybersecurity measures, actively participating in cybersecurity incidents investigations; playing a pivotal role in cybersecurity awareness within the Company; and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities1-Cybersecurity Strategy ImplementationImplement cybersecurity strategy and policies to protect Al Yusr’s digital assets.Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats and weaknesses in the company's systems.Maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and encryption tools.Provide essential suggestions based upon the threat and risk analysis performed.Conduct risk assessments and business impact analysis on new systems and technologies.2-Cybersecurity MonitoringMonitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activities and respond to security alerts in real-time.Monitor and Manage user access to systems and data, including user account provisioning and de-provisioning, and enforcing access control policies.Understand vulnerabilities management systems and common security applications in order to oversee system security efficiently.Ensure the network traffic and internet connectivity data is secure and report in case any risk is detected.Configure anti-virus systems and develop firewall to secure the network infrastructure.3-Cybersecurity Patch ManagementKeep Al Yusr’s software and systems up to date with security patches and mitigate any vulnerability.Apply updates that help resolve code vulnerabilities or errors for applications across Al Yusr’s systems.Close off any security vulnerability in case of an attack.Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate weaknesses in the company's infrastructure.Assist in designing and developing security features for system architectures4-Cybersecurity AwarenessDeliver cybersecurity awareness programs and campaigns to educate Al-Yusr employees about security risks.Promote cybersecurity related best practices among employees, including training on how to recognize and respond to security threats5-Cybersecurity Incident InvestigationInvestigate cybersecurity incidents, breaches, or anomalies to determine the extent of the damage and recommend corrective actions.Implement an incident response plan to address cybersecurity breaches or incidents quickly and effectively6-NCA Regulatory ComplianceEnsure strict compliance with NCA regulations related to cybersecurity policies, standards, protocols and procedure.Work closely with HR and functional heads to ensure all staff sign employment contract and other documents related to IT Security Policies & Practices.The Job Profile1Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.2Professional CertificationsCompTIA Security +, ISC2, NCA (National Cybersecurity Authority), Preferably (CISSP)3ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting; ticket-based customer service; hardware and software installations; network connectivity & Information security4 Technical / Software Expertise MS Office Suite; ERP5 Languages ProficiencyFluent in Arabic & English languages
