This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an experienced team of analysts within a large organization. The position will be located at our Oslo office in Norway.The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for delivering advanced analytics and insights that drive business results and operational excellence with our dynamic and forward-thinking eMobility team. By this you will play a key role in growing a top prioritized business area in Circle K and drive the transition from fossil fuel to electric mobility. The ideal candidate should possess both the technical capabilities as well as commercial savviness, should be able to drive independent analysis as well as work effectively in a team.We are looking for an individual who is a proven problem solver with exceptional critical thinking ability. The candidate should have a high sense of curiosity and be comfortable with ambiguity when faced with a difficult challenge. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills – the ability to collaborate with others, and simply and effectively communicate complex concepts with a non-technical audience.What You Will DoEvaluate business performance, using proven and advanced analytical methodsSupport stakeholders with actionable insights based on transactional, operational, financial or customer data on an ongoing basisBuild user-friendly reports to track the performance of our network of chargersIntegrate new data sources to enrich the insightsOversee the design and measurement of experiments and pilotsInitiate and conduct advanced analytics projects such as clustering, forecasting, causal impactBe an advocate for a data-driven culture among stakeholdersWhat You NeedA higher degree in an analytical discipline like Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar4+ years of experience delivering actionable insights based on dataStrong analytical skills with a proven practical experienceExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenExperience with BI, data preparation and analysis tools (we use Power BI, SQL, Pyspark, Databricks, Snowflake)Experience within a statistical analysis language (e.g. R, Python) is a plusPersonal Qualities RequiredYou think analytically, creatively and pragmaticallyYou’re able to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels and across geographiesYou’re comfortable at taking initiative and driving it through to completionYou’re a problem solver and like to create, but you also appreciate that sharing your work makes us all betterYou’re curious and like to learn, both within business and technologyYou can interpret and translate complex information into understandable, compelling and actionable insightsYou have a strong commercial mindset and are always looking for opportunities to strengthen our business.What You Can Expect At Circle KWherever you are in your journey, we have a place for you.
