What will you do?We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a strong marketing analytics background who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment. This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual and capable of turning complex data into actionable business insights.This is a strategic position responsible for ensuring that the marketing team delivers measurable business outcomes. This role focuses on designing and implementing frameworks to evaluate and optimise marketing strategies, driving efficiencies, and maximising return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise with a deep understanding of marketing channels and business strategy to shape a data-driven culture within the marketing team.As a key analytical partner, you will be responsible for deep-dive analysis, A/B testing, and performance measurement, ensuring that the company makes data-driven decisions at every level.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse marketing performance, leveraging predictive modelling and statistical analyses to forecast strategy impact and identifying insights that reduce costs, improve conversion rates, and optimise spendDevelop advanced analytical frameworks to measure CAC, LTV, ROAS, churn, and other key marketing metrics; place incrementality measurement at the heart of marketing effectivenessEvaluate and optimise the effectiveness of marketing and CRM campaigns, aligning performance measurement with business objectives and revenue goalsBuild interactive dashboards and reporting tools to enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisionsDesign and execute A/B tests and experiments, ensuring statistical rigour in performance analysisPartner with the Marketing team to optimise business strategies through dataLead post-campaign analysis, pre-campaign planning, and audience profiling to maximise marketing effectivenessWork on multi-touch attribution (MTA) and marketing mix modelling (MMM) to analyse and optimise marketing spendAct as the point of contact for reporting requestsRequirementsEssential Experience5+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally in start-ups or small companies - we are not looking for candidates with purely large corporate backgroundsProven track record of making measurable business impacts, such as reducing costs, improving conversion rates, or optimising marketing spendStrong marketing and growth analytics expertise, deep knowledge of CAC, LTV, ROAS, churn, and similar metricsAdvanced SQL skills, with experience in data transformation and query optimisationExperience with Business Intelligence tools (Looker strongly preferred, but not essential)Advanced Excel knowledge, with proficiency in complex data manipulationStrong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present insights to non-technical stakeholdersDeep understanding of analytics best practices, experimental design, and statistical significance in A/B testingExceptional attention to detail and a quality-focused approachNice to HavesExperience in the gaming industryExperience working with dbt for data modelling and transformationBasic knowledge of Python and GitExperience with causal attribution methods, including Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)BenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePension PlanPaid Time OffWork From HomeTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus
