You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our clients—helping them make smart, sustainable decisions that generate real business value. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical experts and business stakeholders.What You’ll DoWork closely with customers and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure data quality and integrityDesign and build scalable batch and real-time data pipelinesDevelop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platformsImplement best practices for data governance, quality, and securitySupport BI teams with data insights and toolsContribute to our internal Data & AI community by sharing knowledge and mentoring others.What We’re Looking ForAt least 4–5 years of experience in a Data Engineer roleFluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken)Hands-on experience with platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or SnowflakeFamiliarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Strong understanding of data architecture: data lakes, modeling, warehousing, SQL/NoSQL, ETL/ELTProficiency in programming (e.g., Python, R, or Java)Experience with version control and CI/CD practicesAbility to work in a consultative role and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience in defining, developing, and maintaining data productsCuriosity and willingness to stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI-powered solutions.Nice To HaveExperience with real-time data streaming or high-volume batch pipelinesSkills in data analytics and visualization toolsDomain knowledge in banking, insurance, or the public sectorInterest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to our internal data communityLocation & flexibilityThis position is based in Finland, with most clients located in the Helsinki area.
