Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team in Luxembourg, within a stimulating and innovative environment. This is a full-time onsite positionMain Responsibilities:Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.Integrate data into downstream systems, including applications, data warehouses, and data lake platforms.Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability and quality.Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Kafka, and REST/SOAP APIs.Manage and optimize relational databases such as Sybase, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.Automate schema versioning and migrations using Liquibase.Build and maintain cloud-based data infrastructures on AWS and Azure.Use Anaconda and Python for data manipulation, scripting, and analytics.Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all environments.Contribute to the strategy, development, and execution of company-wide data initiatives.Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the data analytics infrastructure.Profile Requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Excellent command of English.Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, API Gateway, and Kafka.Strong knowledge of JSF, JBoss Seam, and RichFaces frameworks.Proficiency with Liquibase, SonarQube, GitHub/Nexus/AzureSEA.Solid experience in CI/CD using Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Linux, and Helm.Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning (AWS, Azure) with automation tools.Proven database management experience with Sybase, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.At least 3 years of experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).At least 3 years of experience using Anaconda and Python.At least 5 years of experience coordinating Level 2 production support for an application managed by a team of at least 20 IT professionals.
