Senior Data Engineer needed!!! (06-month contract)Location: Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch ***Applicants for this position must have New Zealand Citizenship/Residence or a valid New Zealand Open Work Visa*** Tō tūranga hou | Your new role As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising scalable data pipelines and architectures on GCP. You'll collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed Strong proficiency with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, etc.). Experience designing and implementing robust ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer). Proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Cloud Composer. Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and distributed systems.
