Now, we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us shape the future of lending in the Baltics.As part of our Pan-Baltic Lending Technology team, you’ll be building scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that power our lending products and customer engagement tools. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flows across systems, and help us move towards a modern, decentralized data architecture inspired by data mesh principles.What You Will Do:Design, implement, and continuously improve systems for data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharingBuild and optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliabilityDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools and frameworksEnsure seamless integration and synchronization across lending automation systems, retail lending tools and processing systemsUphold high standards of data quality, security, availability, and performance within data mesh principlesCollaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutionsPerform code reviews, troubleshoot software, and fix defectsImplement monitoring and alerting for data workflowsGain expertise in a variety of banking processes and productsWork as part of a cross-functional Agile development team in a Pan-Baltic, international environment according to data mesh principlesWhat We Expect: Proven experience with SQL and data warehousingHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Airflow or dbtExperience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)Experience with ETL/ELT designer toolsKnowledge of solution integrations (real-time, message-based, event-driven)Experience within the lending business domain is a strong advantageAbility to take ownership and drive initiatives independentlyFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level What We Offer: Flexibility.
