about the companyThe client is a leading international financial services company that works primarily with high net worth clients. about the jobOversee regional data privacy compliance across multiple jurisdictions (including EU, US, and APAC), ensuring alignment with global standards.Lead privacy governance initiatives - policy implementation, internal audits, and regulatory liaison - with support from external privacy consultants.Partner closely with Legal, Risk, and IT to advise on data handling, vendor arrangements, and incident response processes.Drive group-wide training and awareness programs to strengthen data protection culture and ensure ongoing compliance readiness. about the requirementsDegree-qualified (ideally in Law) with recognised data protection certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or equivalent.Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance, legal, audit, or risk, with strong exposure to data privacy regulations across EU and key APAC jurisdictions.Proven background in policy development, compliance training, and preferably experience within financial or insurance institutions.
