You’ll turn financial data into reliable features, develop and productionize models, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to deliver measurable value for our customers.Your contribution to our success 🤓Data Product Development: Build data products that are tightly integrated into our customer-facing applications, together with our Engineering teamMachine Learning and AI Implementation: Own the full lifecycle of machine learning models and AI solutions to automate financial operations for our customers and generate insightsAnalytics & Decision Support: Explore and analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights, define metrics, run experiments, and communicate clear narratives that inform product and commercial decisionsCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to integrate data solutions into our SaaS platform and funding productsStakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and ensure that data initiatives support their objectivesMentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor teammates, lead by example through code reviews and documentation, and help evolve our data platform and working methodsWho we are looking for 🕵🏽‍♀️You have 4+ years of experience in Data Science and/or ML EngineeringYou have extensive experience with the end-to-end lifecycle of predictive/prescriptive models, from problem framing and data discovery through production deployment and ongoing monitoring and maintenance. This includes:Strong data modeling and SQL skillsExtensive experience using the Python ML and DS ecosystemFamiliarity with cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure)Experience with orchestration (Dagster, Airflow, Luigi), warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks), and ELT (Airbyte, Fivetran) technologiesYou can quickly build a prototype, but you are also capable of incrementally evolving it into a production-ready applicationYou have built and shipped LLM-powered features using techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation, similarity search, structured extraction, and routingYou can structure and optimize processes to measure and continuously enhance data quality and machine learning pipelinesYou understand data architectures that can handle high-volume data pipelines and analyticsYou are innovative and forward-thinking, with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance financial insightYou have a collaborative mindset and thrive in a dynamic startup environmentYou are fluent in English, German is a plusYou have a valid EU work permit and reside within the EU. re:cap does not offer visa or relocation support at the momentWhat you can expect 🪴Remote first.
