Title: Deployment Engineer Location: Remote CAD. Must be on the EST timezone. Employment Type: Full-timeAbout Us:At Atolio, we’re on a mission to make organizational knowledge instantly accessible regardless of which app, service, or platform it lives in. We’re an early series startup combining cutting-edge machine learning and AI to solve some of the most complex challenges in enterprise search: indexing, retrieval, and scaling across multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). We use Go (Golang) for our core services, but you’ll work across a diverse toolset to ensure our platform is deployed, configured, and operating reliably in client environments.The Role:As a Deployment Engineer, you’ll serve as a key link between our engineering and client success teams. You’ll ensure that Atolio’s enterprise search platform is deployed smoothly, securely, and efficiently in a variety of environments. You’ll take ownership of the full deployment lifecycle, including environment setup, infrastructure provisioning, configuration, integration, and monitoring. Your work will play a vital role in driving client adoption and satisfaction.What You’ll Do:Lead client specific deployments and onboarding of Atolio’s platform in cloud native or hybrid environmentsDesign and implement deployment processes focused on scalability, security, and reliabilityIntegrate Atolio with a range of enterprise systems (e.g., document repositories, ticketing systems, code repositories)Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize deployment pipelines and system performanceBuild automation scripts and tooling to streamline operations and minimize manual tasksTroubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in collaboration with customersMaintain accurate deployment documentation and promote best practices for internal and external useWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years in a deployment, DevOps, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering roleDeep experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Strong background in containerization, especially with KubernetesProficiency with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and HelmKnowledge of secure networking, identity management (e.g., SAML, OIDC), and API integrationsFamiliarity with enterprise tools such as Okta, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or SalesforceExperience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, or DatadogProgramming experience in at least one language (Go, Python, or similar); familiarity with Golang is a plusExcellent troubleshooting abilities and clear, empathetic communication with external stakeholdersA mindset focused on automation, repeatability, and scalable solutionsNice-to-Haves:Experience deploying on-premises enterprise solutionsBackground in search, data pipelines, or large-scale distributed systemsWhy You’ll Love Working Here:Make an impact from day one—your work will directly support customer successAutonomy and ownership—we empower you to make key technical and operational decisionsFlexible hours and remote-friendly culture—work in a way that fits your lifeTransparent founders and mission-driven team—help build meaningful technology with real-world impactCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary and early-stage equityComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageHome office stipendFlexible PTO policy
