Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the design team for all fire protection projects.Design and develop complete fire protection systems including:Fire Hydrant SystemsFire Alarm SystemsFire Suppression Systems (Gas, Foam, etc.)Fire Sprinkler SystemsEnsure all designs comply with NFPA, UL, and FM standards.Prepare technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and system layouts.Review and approve design submissions, drawings, and BOQs.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality control for the design team.Stay updated with industry standards, new technologies, and design best practices.QualificationsEducation: B.Sc. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).Experience: Minimum 10 years in fire protection system design.Technical Knowledge:Proficient in NFPA, UL, and FM standards.Hands-on experience with HASS or other hydraulic design software.Strong understanding of local building codes and fire safety regulations.Skills:Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Other Requirements:Must have own transport.
