Senior Design & Project EngineerAs our Senior Design & Project Engineer, you are the technical lead within the commercial process. You do not carry any sales responsibilities, but you are the key technical counterpart in client interactions—often with engineering teams from leading international bike brands. Your mission is to understand complex technical needs, think proactively, and help design smart, manufacturable, and cost-conscious solutions in collaboration with our internal teams. This is not a support role—it’s a role with ownership, visibility, and strategic importance, enabling Curana to stand out in the years to come through technical excellence.

🔧 Your responsabilitiesTechnical leadership in customer interactionJoin client meetings when technical depth is required. Understand and translate complex requirements into clear, feasible product concepts. Be the internal and external reference point for all product-related technical discussions. Help the sales team offer better solutions—not by selling, but by bringing smart engineering into the conversation.  Project management for technically complex casesTake over internal project management when projects become too technical for the Sales Coordinator. Coordinate closely with production, R&D, suppliers, and clients to align feasibility, timing, and cost.

Collaborate with our Senior R&D Engineer on more complex or innovative developments.  Technical design & CAD workTranslate concepts into production-ready drawings and documentation. Either produce the technical drawings yourself or supervise our junior designer. Be comfortable using CAD tools (2D/3D) to intervene quickly when needed. Market insight & product roadmap contributionCapture market signals through client contact and translate them into product improvement opportunities. Contribute to the long-term vision for our product range. Support strategic innovation alongside the R&D team.

👤 Your profileAt least 5 years of experience in technical product development, mechanical design, or engineering project management—ideally in cycling, mobility, or mechanical components.  You have a background in Mechanical Engineering with affinities in product development and testing. You are a strong communicator who can express complex ideas clearly, both with clients and internally.  You have a genuine problem-solver mindset: proactive, analytical, and pragmatic.  You are confident in creating and interpreting technical drawings.  Highly organized and capable of handling several projects at once. You enjoy working in a small, entrepreneurial team where your input has real impact.  Languages:
