Job Title Sr. DesignerManagement LevelLead ProfessionalJob DescriptionGraphic design focuses on designing and developing graphics for LEGO® products, including decorations, stickers, textile and other product related visual assets. Using the LEGO product DESiGN guidelines, the Senior Graphic Designer sketches, ideates and designs graphics for manufacturing of products. Drives the graphic development process, design, test, approval, and other relevant areas of graphic development.The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for generating new ideas and creating graphics based on creative briefs, applying insights and trends to inform their work. They also provide leadership within the team by role modeling, mentoring, and influencing their colleagues.Core ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and drive the implementation of the creative vision given by the Project Core Lead Team, developing graphic design work based on Creative Briefs to deliver LEGO products that meet expectations regarding age complexity, audience appeal, play experiences, and storytelling. Explore, visualize, and sketch ideas for graphics while facilitating graphic ideation within the franchise. Create solutions to complex challenges in the graphic development process. Enhance collaboration with colleagues across LEGO DESiGN, mastering the understanding of various tasks and responsibilities to work efficiently with internal and external partners. Stay updated on consumer insights and trends, using this information to enhance graphic development and meet consumer desires regarding age appropriateness, audience appeal, storytelling, and play experiences. Actively participate and co-facilitate boosts and brainstorming sessions. Channel graphic design expertise into product innovation and apply functional expertise to influence portfolio decisions. No two projects are the same, and they all require different needs and expertise.As part of the Graphic Design team you will play a role in developing the product graphic that go into the LEGO products, like figures, decorations and stickers.You will be working all the way from conceptualisation to the final technical development in a cross-functional setting alongside a variety of collaborators including other designers, creative leaders, project managers, print technicians and external partners.Do you have what it takes?Extensive design experience in leadership or lead designer roles. Strong ability to develop graphics compliant with design guidelines, design process and design briefs (portfolio required, including vector graphics). Strong proficiency in using Adobe illustrator and other graphic design tools. Committed to delivering consistent, high-quality designs efficiently. Capable of autonomously understanding and following the graphic design process. Knowledgeable in design thinking and processes, with the ability to mentor others. Skilled in driving graphic design improvement initiatives. Adept at solving complex graphic design challenges. Able to balance creativity with brand requirements under tight deadlines.
