And our founding mission remains unchanged – to change the world of flowers, and to change the world with flowers.About The RoleWe are in an exciting period of redefining our brand creative and are looking for a passionate and creative Senior Designer to be part of the journey. You will assist in overseeing the creation of visual assets for digital and print across web, social, CRM, packaging and editorial working within a small design team to bring ideas to life. With an impeccable eye for style and design you will contribute to a new brand refresh and bring a wealth of ideas on how to interpret a new creative direction across print and digital. If you have a passion for innovation and creativity within a small team we would love to meet you!ResponsibilitiesBrandingAssist the CD in rolling out a refreshed visual identity across site, CRM, social, packaging and editorial.Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring correct application across multiple mediums.EmailAssist in leading the design and production of visually engaging, high-performing email campaigns ensuring all designs are optimized for deliverability, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.Maintain and evolve email design systems and reusable templates in accordance with brand guidelines. Suggest A/B design tests and analyze performance metrics to continuously optimize email designs.Stay abreast of current design trends and email best practices.DigitalOversee the design of all site graphics, banners and image updates.Ensure all imagery and graphics are optimized for web and mobile responsiveness.SocialLead the design and production of compelling static and animated motion graphics, videos, and visual assets for various social platforms.Stay updated on animation and video trends, tools, and techniques.PrintOversee the design and development of all packaging including boxes, care guides and other promotional materials.Own projects from concept through pre-press and final delivery, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and print-readiness.Work closely with print vendors and production partners to ensure quality control and meet production specifications.Project managementInspire our small design team of two bringing creativity, technical precision, and strategic thinking to every project.Assist in delegating all design briefs and sign off first rounds of all designs providing constructive feedback during design reviews.Liaise with the wider team to understand project requirements and ensure all information is captured for the design team.Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and reflects the company’s visual identity.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.Maintain an organised filing system for design assets, ensuring files are easily accessible to other team members.RequirementsA creative portfolio demonstrating a strong body of work in line with current design trends which showcases your keen eye for styleProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma Proficiency in basic video editing and motion graphicsExcellent layout and typography skills with strong attention to detailExcellent knowledge of print production and processStrong organisational and time management skillsA passion for branding, storytelling, and pushing creative boundariesIllustration skills a bonusRetouching skills a bonusPassion for floristry/ flowersBenefitsOption to buy extra holiday daysDiscounted flowers for friends/familyWFH (where applicable)Learning and Development SupportCycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeDiscounted gym membershipCash plan with MedicashHealth and wellbeing sessions with The Mind ClinicTeam socials and eventsBi-Weekly lunchAnd Flowers!InclusionFreddie’s Flowers recognises our success is dependent on the success of our people.
