Senior DevOps Engineer-ROMANIA - BASED

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) for enterprise-grade applications.Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through effective monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / OpenSearch, Datadog, etc.).Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize deployment workflows and reduce time-to-market.Lead incident management and root-cause analysis for production issues, ensuring permanent fixes are implemented.Contribute to observability, logging, and monitoring strategy improvements.Support platform modernization initiatives, including microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Ensure compliance with internal security policies, risk, and control frameworks.Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.Requirements5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.Strong knowledge of Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).Proven experience with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).Solid experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).Experience with modern CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring best practices.Strong troubleshooting skills for complex production environments.Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.Nice to HaveRelevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate, etc.).Experience with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).Exposure to cloud-native architecture and application migration projects.Familiarity with GitOps and Agile methodologies.
