Inspire Brands is seeking our next Senior Director - Franchise Development to lead strategic Non-Traditional development for all brands in the Inspire portfolio.Reporting directly to Chief Development Officer, this Senior Director will be responsible for growing total Net Unit Count of Non-Traditional locations for each brand, (Buffalo Wild Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings GO, Arby’s, Jimmy John’s, Sonic, Dunkin’ and Baskin’ Robbins) via collaboration with existing franchisees and recruitment of new top tier franchisees and driving new restaurant commitments yielding Non-Traditional NRO’s.This key leadership role will have direct accountability for targeted prospecting, lead generation, follow-up, franchisee candidate qualification, consultative selling protocols, negotiating in the best interest of the company, and managing the development agreement process.This Sr. Director will guide a high performing team of industry professionals and be expected to create opportunities for growth through innovative, strategic thinking and strong business relationships.This position will sit remotely in the contiguous united states with the expectation for 25% travel for Industry conferences, internal meetings in the Atlanta Global Support Center, and relationship building opportunities with franchisees in the field.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining the Net Unit Growth strategy for all Inspire Brands in Non-traditional venuesIdentifying, developing and executing processes that support rapid growth, collaboration and communication with other departmentsLeading projects to integrate non-traditional business into systems, processes, and cultureFully understanding and consistently applying models, requirements, qualifications, metrics and benchmarks when sourcing and qualifying potential new franchisees and existing franchisee candidates for new Non-Traditional unit development. Ensuring timely and efficient management of the advancement of candidates through the franchisee approval processExpertly navigating Inspire Brands’ Development process to include demonstrating expert knowledge of the FDD, all related document requirements, key stakeholders, processes and timeline targets. Ensuring timely and efficient management of the processCreating opportunities and navigating deals from sourcing and qualification to execution of development agreementConducting a thorough qualification of all prospective franchisee candidates [existing and new], coordinating internal resources as needed. Ensuring deals move through the process effectively and efficiently, and appropriate details and requirements are metOrchestrating strategic transfers to strengthen each brand and spur NRO’sCollaborating cross functionally with Development Planning, Real Estate and Operations to execute a Non-Traditional development strategy that defines targeted venues (airports, travel plazas, universities, military bases, etc.) and alternative Brand footprintsDriving targeted recruitment strategy [existing and new franchisees] specific to each brand and venueEnsuring alignment and support around flexible Brand footprints and service models to foster Non-Traditional development. Proactively engaging stakeholders with updates, challenges and opportunities to ensure continual signing of new unit development commitments to add to overall NRO pipelineExecuting creative approaches in initiating Non-Traditional deals to fuel increased Net Unit Development while continually identifying opportunities to improve the process and accelerate growth across the Inspire Brands portfolioEducation And Experience Qualifications4-year Degree required Business, Marketing or related disciplineAdvanced degree preferred5+ years of experience in Franchising Sales in the Non-Traditional industry3+ years of People leadership experience guiding, coaching, and developing high performing teamsPrior experience working with large food service providers/concessionaires for brand selection preferredREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, Or ABILITIESHighly skilled with Non-Traditional, B2B SalesAbility to cultivate large national partnerships and oversees implementation strategies for successful programsDeep knowledge of the competitive bidding process and developing Request for Proposals (RFPs) Demonstrated ability with enterprise relationship management, specifically with top tier franchiseesStrong ability to collaborate cross functional with external stakeholders and internal teams within highly matrixed, enterprise organizationsDeep knowledge of Financial Disclosure Document ProcessStrong knowledge of CRM platforms, Salesforce (preferred)Highly skilled with Power Point, Excel and other relevant tools Excellent Project and Program Management skillsSalary: $114,844 - $252,657 per yearThe salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location.Employees (and their families) may elect to be covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, and can enroll in our company’s 401K plan.
