We also prioritize career development, offering clear growth paths and development goals for every team member.The Opportunity:As Senior Director, you will shape Agoda’s finance technology strategy and execution, leading our ERP Solutions, Finance Data & Analytics, Fintech Solutions, and RPA teams. You’ll drive the evolution of our finance systems architecture, champion next-generation technologies like GenAI, and ensure our platforms are robust, scalable, and future-ready.You will also play a key role in large-scale finance transformation projects that modernize and elevate our financial operations. You will collaborate closely with all business units, including IT, Product, Legal, as well as our sister companies and the broader Booking Holdings Fintech team, to deliver transformative solutions that fuel business growth and operational excellence. Success in this role requires strong executive influence, cross-functional alignment, excellent communication, and strategic delivery.This position reports to the Head of FinTech and Business Initiatives and is part of Agoda’s Finance Department.Role Responsibilities:ERP Strategy & Leadership: Set the vision and roadmap for Agoda’s ERP landscape in close collaboration with key Product, Finance and IT stakeholders, with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Fusion. Lead the day-to-day operations, optimization, and thought leadership of ERP and related finance systems. Finance Systems Architecture: Architect and oversee the design of integrated finance systems, working closely with Product and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless connectivity between ERP, in-house, and hybrid solutions that support business scalability and compliance. Fintech Solutions Leadership: Oversee the development, integration, and smooth operation of fintech solutions and payment platforms. Proactively monitor performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement to ensure reliable, efficient financial processes. Data & Analytics Leadership: Lead the Finance Data & Analytics team to deliver actionable insights, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making capabilities for the finance organization. RPA & Automation Oversight: Direct the Finance RPA team to identify, design, and implement automation opportunities that drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings across finance processes. GenAI Thought Leadership: Champion the adoption of generative AI and advanced technologies, providing thought leadership and practical guidance for process transformation and innovation. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional partners, articulating the value and impact of finance technology initiatives. Vendor & Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery excellence and value realization. Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts related to finance technology, ensuring successful adoption and continuous improvement. Governance & Compliance: Ensure all finance systems and processes comply with regulatory, security, and internal control requirements. What You’ll Need to Succeed:Proven Leadership: 15+ years of progressive experience in finance systems, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing ERP (Oracle Cloud Fusion), data/analytics, and automation teams in a technology-driven environment. ERP Expertise: Deep expertise in ERP system architecture, implementation, and optimization—ideally with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion. Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation projects. Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to set and execute a strategic vision for finance technology, balancing innovation with operational excellence. Data & Automation Acumen: Hands-on experience leading finance data/analytics and RPA teams, with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business outcomes. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage, influence, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization. Project & Change Management: Expertise in leading complex, cross-functional projects using Agile, SDLC, or other methodologies, and driving successful change management initiatives. Business Acumen: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. Global Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience. Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; professional accounting or project management qualifications are a plus. It’s Great if You Have:Experience across multiple ERPs and Finance Systems Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a consulting role, advising organizations on finance systems, ERP implementations, or large-scale transformation projects.
