Job Description

Job Purpose: To direct the Logistics Operation to ensure service and financial performance targets are consistently met in providing service to the business entities.Responsibilities:Directs country warehousing operations to meet the company’s business objectives:Delivers against agreed SLA’s.Ensures alignment, coordination and cooperation with respective sales country/region on logistics and reverse logistics.Handles transportation carriers (ie SLA’s, cost and service).Prioritises activities/resources within the Logistics Centre.Leverages synergies and continuously drives best practice.Drives European and Global logistics initiatives into the LC.Drives continuous improvement process.Manages performance, evaluates and develops the Logistics team.Manages the Logistics Centre ensuring compliance to SOX, compliance and security procedures.Delivers on financial budget commitments (i.e. AOP, Capital Plan) for the Logistics Centre.Develops and delivers on operational AOP plan for key functional areas (i.e. freight, inventory control).Develops a relationship with Vendors, customers and carriers.Acts as a fully integrated member of the wider business team supporting the development of business strategy and ensuring Logistics alignment with that strategy.Develops and implements communication channels with all levels of the operations team, ensuring effective communication of business and departmental objectives and performance of the team.Develops and implements proactive customer solutions that support the business in differentiating TD SYNNEX from our competitorsKnowledge Skills and Experience:Strong knowledge of logistics and / or Warehouse Integrated systems and Warehouse designAbility to ensure logistics center successfully supports the business objectiveResults orientatedAbility to work in fast paced constantly changing environment take quick decisive actionsBroad Supply chain experienceStrong leadership skills Customer focussedProcess drivenAble to build solid, effective working relationships with othersKey SkillsBusiness Objectives, Financial Performance, Leadership, Logistics Operations, Performance Measurement, Security, Warehousing OperationsAt TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
