The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.Job DescriptionPlatform Distribution & Partnerships is a key division within NBCUniversal’s Media Group, responsible for distributing and monetizing our multi-billion-dollar portfolio of linear and streaming services. We manage relationships with pay-TV providers, NBC affiliates, consumer tech platforms, and brands—driving revenue across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo, and FAST channels.We’re looking for a strategic operator and collaborative leader to join our Strategic Enablement team. This team transforms distribution strategy into execution—bridging the gap between deal-making and delivery. You’ll work cross-functionally with Business Development, Legal, Technology, and Operations to ensure our distribution agreements are implemented with precision, clarity, and impact across traditional, affiliate, FAST, and SVOD deals. With a business-first mindset, we drive clarity, consistency, and results that align with NBCUniversal’s strategic goals.As a Senior Director, You WillPartner closely with deal teams to understand contract terms through a product, technology and operations lens and translate them into business requirements for execution teams.Align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure distribution deal terms are delivered and distribution objectives are embedded in their respective roadmaps.Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to streamline and optimize execution.Build scalable frameworks and workflows that support repeatable success across deals.Ensure compliance and continuity for initiatives managed by distribution and platform teams.Provide executive-level reporting on deal execution progress and key performance indicators.Oversee and manage initiatives, programs, and projects that fall under the Platform Distribution & Partnerships umbrella.Own the creation and upkeep of strategic documentation such as playbooks, standards of procedure, to ensure teams have clear, consistent, and actionable content that supports execution and alignment.QualificationsWhat You’ll DoLead operational execution across traditional, affiliate, FAST, and SVOD distribution deals.Translate complex contract terms into actionable plans that drive alignment and delivery.Partner with internal teams to ensure strategic priorities are reflected in execution.Influence emerging media terms across ad tech, measurement, product, and operations.Provide strategic oversight and cross-functional coordination across key initiatives.Who You AreExperienced & Strategic: 8+ years in business operations, sales, program management, transformation, or distribution—ideally in media, entertainment, or a related space.Clear Communicator: You simplify complexity and make ideas resonate across audiences.Inclusive Leader: You promote quality, accountability, innovation, and kindness.Change Agent: You align diverse stakeholders and drive meaningful transformation.Operationally Sharp: Skilled in portfolio management, budgeting, and strategic planning.Multitasker: You manage multiple complex projects with clarity and calm.Tech Fluent: You understand digital media technologies and connect business with tech.Trusted Partner: Senior leaders rely on your guidance to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.Collaborative by Nature: You build inclusive teams and foster transparency across functions.Sales Savvy: You understand sales processes and have implemented programs at scale.Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.Desired CharacteristicsExperience with operational systems, supply chain workflows, and process improvement methodologies.Knowledge of relevant trends that could impact the organization’s business short-term and long-term.Fluency with enterprise collaboration tools and program management software such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Airtable.Additional RequirementsHybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week.
