We are expanding our editorial team and seeking a skilled Senior Editor to help uphold and enhance the quality of our content and support our newsroom’s continued growth.About the RoleAs a Senior Editor at SeeNews -  a leading business news provider for 11 countries in Southeastern Europe - you will play a central role in shaping the content published on our platforms. You will edit news stories produced by journalists and other editors, oversee the quality and accuracy of information, support content creation, and contribute to the team’s presence on social media. You will also collaborate closely with the editor-in-chief  regarding the company strategy for a growing regionThis position is ideal for someone with strong editorial judgment, a track record in a fast-paced media environment, excellent English language skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic newsroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Edit news stories from journalists and editors, providing mandatory guidance on style, structure, and content.Monitor information flow from media, agencies, and other sources, producing original news when necessary.Oversee visual elements accompanying news pieces (photos, infographics, charts) and create visuals when required.Collaborate with the business unit manager on topic selection and content prioritizationPrepare analyses and conduct interviews on assigned topics.Participate in research projects, including preparation, editing, and formatting of reports.Contribute to team organisation and support junior colleagues in their training.Represent the company at conferences, events, and presentations.Uphold company values, ethical standards, and confidentiality policies.Requirements:Relevant university degreeExcellent command of EnglishStrong editorial background Good knowledge of the assigned coverage area (industry, companies, or sector).Good communication skills, responsibility, and discipline.Ability to analyze and synthesize information quickly and accurately.Strong organisational abilities and capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.Teamwork skills and the ability to function in a highly dynamic, tech-driven environment.Positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.What We Offer:Opportunity to work in a recognized regional leader in business news and intelligence, partner of ThomsonReuters and Bloomberg.Collaborative and supportive newsroom environment.Professional development and training opportunities.Opportunity to help an excellent team achieve bigger growth.Exposure to high-profile industry events and experts.The chance to contribute to impactful journalism across Southeast Europe.
