Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.Experience in mission critical facilities and their electrical infrastructure.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field or a Professional Engineering license.Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or SCADA tools.Experience in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations, switchgear, ATP/ATS, emergency power systems and their control systems, power monitoring, and electrical protection.Experience in working with data center environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, transformers, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems).Experience with medium voltage systems.Experience with cross-discipline teams (e.g., structural, security, mechanical, etc.).About The JobOur thirst for technology is a part of everything we do. From software to hardware our teams are shaping the future of world-leading hyperscale computing, with key teams working on the development of our TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, Google Global Networking, Data Center operations, systems research, and much more.ResponsibilitiesPerform technical evaluations of market available multi-tenant facilities or built single tenant facilities for acquisition into the fleet portfolio.Understand and evaluate data center designs based on level of redundancy, availability goals, and Single Point of Failure (SPOFs) in the design.Manage power system issues during concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and installation on site.Own and manage the program level issues regarding the electrical system, identify and resolve the issues with cross functional teams and stakeholders.Identify and work with Google Point of Contact (POC) to resolve issues raised by the cross functional teams and various external stakeholders.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
