Job Description

Skeleton's Advanced Engineering Department is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (m/f/x) for the Grid products (cabinets, systems).Your responsibility areas:Responsible for the design and development of PCB-based electrical systems, including creation of circuit schematics and selection of suitable electronic componentsDesigns multilayer PCB layouts, performs design rule checks, and ensures adherence to relevant industry, safety, and EMC standardsPrepares manufacturing and assembly documentation, such as Gerber files, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawingsSupports prototype builds, including testing, troubleshooting, validation, and iterative design improvementsCollaborates closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, firmware, testing, manufacturing) to ensure alignment with overall product requirements and performance targetsReceives task assignments and performance oversight from the designated functional manager, according to the current organizational structureRequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldProfessional experience in electrical design, preferably in power electronics or industrial energy systemsUnderstanding of medium- or high-voltage systems and grid-connected products is an advantageProficiency in schematic design, component selection, and PCB developmentFamiliarity with relevant safety and EMC standardsAbility to support testing, validation, and troubleshooting in a lab environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teamsBenefitsWe offer flexible working hours, with the possibility of mobile working without core working hours and sufficient freedom for your own ideasA flat hierarchy culture - fostering our great working atmosphereA motivating opportunity for continuous growth at SkeletonAn additional day off every year for your birthday.
