Our team focuses on the design, qualification, and development of subsea cable systems that meet the highest technical and environmental standards. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and in project-driven environments will set you up for success.How You Make An ImpactAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will: Design and perform technical calculations for subsea power cable systems Develop technical documentation, reports, and qualification plans Plan and execute qualification programs to ensure cable system reliability Collaborate with production, installation, and other internal teams Drive technical improvements and efficiency initiatives within the departmentYour technical expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute directly to delivering reliable and innovative subsea power solutions.YOUR STARTING POINT Bachelor’s degree or higher in high-voltage electrical engineering or system technology 3–7 years of relevant experience in high-voltage technology, with subsea cable experience as a strong advantage Familiarity with design, technical calculations, and qualification of cable systems Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team Fluent in English (written and spoken); Norwegian is a plus Aligned with Nexans’ values: Pioneer, Dedicated, UnitedOUR GROWTH CULTUREAt Nexans, growth thrives on trust, collaboration, and innovation.
