Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer — BLE / MCU / Renesas Ecosystem (Athens, Greece)Are you passionate about embedded systems and eager to work on cutting-edge wireless technology?Join us and help shape the future of BLE-based location intelligence.We are a rapidly growing technology company based in California, USA specializing in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) location-finding solutions, with strong market traction and a strategic partnership with Renesas, one of the world’s leading silicon vendors.As we expand our engineering presence in Greece (Athens), we are looking for skilled Embedded Firmware Engineers who want to work on impactful, real-world products and grow with us as we scale globally.Role OverviewAs an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize firmware for our next-generation BLE devices, built on the Renesas ecosystem.You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced engineers, contributing to all of the development steps, from concept to production — while gaining exposure to advanced wireless, sensor, and low-power systems.This a flexible hybrid role: you can work from our Athens office or remotely, depending on project needs and team collaboration priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and optimize embedded firmware for Renesas MCUs and SoCsIntegrate and debug BLE stacks and wireless communication protocolsDesign advanced architectures for BLE applications related to locationing use casesProfile and optimize power, latency, and memory performanceIntegrate and process data from sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, and environmental sensorsCollaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to deliver robust, high-performance embedded solutionsParticipate in code reviews, design review discussions, and continuous embedded applications improvement effortsWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in Embedded C development5+ years of experience with BLE protocol stacks and low-power wireless software design3+ years of experience in radio SoC architectures -- experience with Renesas is a strong advantageSolid understanding of MCU architectures — experience with Renesas is a strong advantageFamiliarity with RTOS, peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO)Debugging experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWDExperience with sensor integration (accelerometers, gyroscopes, etc.) is a big plusStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, global teamCurious, detail-oriented, and proactive — eager to learn and contributeProfessional working proficiency in English and GreekWhy Join UsBe part of a growing team in Greece contributing to global innovation in wireless location technologyCollaborate with exceptional engineers in a high-synergy environment that values teamwork and open communicationExposure to advanced technologies through our Renesas partnership and leading BLE development ecosystemCompetitive compensation based on your level of experience and technical depthOpportunities for growth — as we expand, experienced engineers can take on leadership, specialization, or architecture rolesLocation: Athens, Greece (Hybrid)Eligibility: Greek citizens or residents with a valid work permit
