Your Role As an Embedded Software Developer you work on the development of the software which is controlling the high voltage batteries in multiple different customer vehicles. You are part of an expert team of system, hard- and software engineers on battery management systems which are among the world-leading ones regarding safety, features and costs.Your future tasks at a glance Development of complex state machines to ensure the functionality of the HV batteryDevelopment of complex drivers and modules for wired or wireless real time data transferManagement of crypto modules and secure communicationBootloader developmentcomplex analog & digital signal processing and data transfer (CAN, LIN, SPI, ethernet, I2C)Integrate the software on OS level and ensure its real time capability in multiple different frameworks (bare metal, vector/Autosar, micrium OS, PXROS)Work on the low-level drivers that controls the microcontroller and its peripheralsEnsure & improve the functionality of the battery management algorithms on system levelEnsure the software development follows the necessary automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO26262)Design the software architecture regarding integration, validation and mass productionDevelop and Improve CI /CD tool chain and integrate SW development , quality check , work product generation and testing processes into the tool chain.
