Job Description

THE ROLEReporting to the Manager Communication and Engagement, the Senior Engagement and Communications Officer works across the Commission to deliver high-level communications and engagement advice to the Victorian Disability Worker Commissioner (the Commissioner) and the Disability Worker Registration Board of Victoria (Board about the Disability Worker Regulation Scheme (Scheme). This includes development and delivery of communication activities to the disability sector, wider community and key stakeholders.This role also supports the operation of the Commission and Board, by providing high level strategic advice and compiling reports for the Commission and Board. The role leads the development of communications strategies for major projects and contributes to implementing and evaluating these strategies. The role acts as a communications champion to ensure high standards are applied in all communications across the Commission.Accountabilities IncludeDevelop, deliver and evaluate internal and external communication and engagement strategies and deliver or oversee production of print, online and multimedia materials and Commission and Board face-to-face and virtual events.Work collaboratively across the Commission to ensure the delivery of effective communications and engagement that are of a high written and visual standard and which comply with Commission and whole-of-Victorian Government guidelines, including best practice accessibility and inclusion standards.Initiate and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships, including and delivering of key messages, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities resulting in developing and applying new and/or contemporary method to deliver communications services.How To ApplyPlease open the position description to read more.Applicants are encouraged to apply online.
