Job Description
As Our Senior Engagement Officer, You Will Develop and contribute to community and stakeholder communications and engagement strategies, including the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of engagement plans. Undertake independent activities and use discretionary judgement to ensure program deliverables are achieved in terms of stakeholder relationships. Escalate complaints and identify reputational risks and issues in relation to potentially sensitive matters and circumstances. Coordinate and manage community and stakeholder engagement forums, including communication with community groups, industry peak bodies and associations, organisations, and government agencies. Some engagements may require attendance at activities that are out of normal office hours. Under limited direction, negotiate and communicate with designated stakeholder groups on behalf of the program providing authoritative advice. Contribute to the development of team planning processes and the maintenance and evaluation of policies, procedures and systems needed to ensure effective stakeholder engagement practices and outcomes across the program. Provide support and direction to team members, delegating responsibilities to ensure stakeholder engagement program objectives are achieved.You may also have - IAP2 Engagement certificate or other relevant certificate/experience is highly desirable.
