DescriptionDiscover your exciting roleAs a Senior Engineer BIM/VDC, you will be responsible for driving the technical implementation and advancement of BIM/VDC processes in high-end projects within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries.Explore Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement BIM/VDC strategies across interdisciplinary project teamsEnsure model quality with a focus on data integrity, clash detection/prevention, and design consistencyCoordinate model-based data exchange between disciplines (MEP, process, architecture, etc.)Provide technical guidance to project managers, clients, and project stakeholdersOptimize project delivery through custom templates, metrics, automation scripts, and standardized VDC protocolsConduct internal trainings and promote knowledge sharingShow Your ExpertiseDegree in engineering (e.g. process engineering, building services, architecture) or equivalent qualificationContinuing education or degree in BIM/VDC is a plus (MAS, CAS , MSc)Appr. 5 years of professional experience in model-based planning and coordination of complex industrial projects (e.g. chemical, pharma, energy, data centers)Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC, and ideally Plant 3D or MagiCADExperience in interdisciplinary coordination and issue management for MEP systems and/or process plant design Solid skills in MS Office and high IT affinityExcellent communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative mindsetIndependent, structured, and solution-oriented working styleFluent in German and English (spoken and written)ContactYou want to be part of the Exyte team?
