Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a Senior Engineer in Concept Designing?We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Concept Design team within the Plant Engineering department, part of Valmet’s Pulp, Energy and Circularity business line.Our team designs complete pulp mills and process equipment for chemical and mechanical pulp production, as well as biomass- and waste-fueled power plants. We work closely with customers across Europe, Americas and Asia.The position can be based in Tampere, Raisio or Vantaa (Finland).Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the sales phase of Boiler and Gasification plant projects. Alternatively, you might be working with Environmental Systems sales cases that will handle air emission control projects.You WillDevelop layout concepts and 3D models in collaboration with Valmet product teams, sales, and suppliers.Participate in customer meetings and technical negotiations, presenting layout solutions.Ensure smooth information flow across stakeholders, especially in multiunit projects.Occasionally support layout coordination for pulp mill and power plant sales projects.Contribute to product development and technology improvements through internal collaboration.To Succeed In This Role, You Should HaveA Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Experience in layout engineering and familiarity with the Pulp & Energy industry.Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, such as Aveva E3D and/or Dassault Systemes SolidWorks, and also preferably AutoCAD.A proactive, customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.A drive to continuously improve performance and openly share ideas for innovation and efficiency.Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.Fluent English skills (written and spoken).Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.We OfferA dynamic and collaborative work environment.
