Job Description

Purpose:To ensure accurate employee data for timely payroll processing and leads employee relations initiatives, including onboarding, policy implementation, and issue resolution, to foster a positive and compliant work environment. This role provides guidance on complex HR and payroll matters, supports management in enhancing employee satisfaction and retention, and contributes to HR strategies that drive overall organizational effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:• Responsible to lead and coordinate the recruitment and selection process, ensuring timely acquisition of qualified talent.• Should design and facilitate induction and onboarding programs, serving as a key resource to integrate new team members efficiently.• Ensure zero delays in onboarding while aligning recruitment practices with organizational goals.• Oversee and administer team member payroll in coordination with the service provider.• Ensure accurate maintenance of payroll records and generation of relevant reports.• Ensure timely salary disbursements to all employees.• Prepare and maintain accurate records related to Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).• Ensure timely submission and processing of EPF and ETF claim forms.• Should collate, analyze, and interpret HR data to prepare accurate reports and presentations for management and Ensure manpower and HR reports are circulated to relevant internal and external stakeholders promptly. • Responsible to maintain positive employee relations and address grievances related to attendance, absenteeism, remuneration, and other HR matters.• Provide practical solutions to employee issues and implement initiatives to motivate the workforce and enhance productivity.• Identify key areas in HR policies and procedures requiring updates or revisions to enhance effectiveness.• Ensure all HR policies are aligned with current legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.• Ensure adherence to company standards, including SOPs, compliance, health & safety, and 5S, in all HR activities.• Support and contribute to projects related to compliance, process improvement, and operational efficiency.Qualifications and Experience:Educational Qualifications:• Degree in Business/Human Resource Management OR Professional Qualification in HR.• Reading a postgraduate qualification would be a definite advantage.Professional Experience:• 02-03 Years experience in similar field, and experience in payroll management would be an added advantage.Personal Characteristics / Behavior:• Strategic mind set and ability to think in new avenues.• Excellent language proficiency and ability to communicate sensibly.• Effective people management.• Meeting deadlines and stress tolerance.• Networking and relationship building.• Leadership and team building.• Strategic thinking and effective influencing.
