Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the full spectrum of payroll functions, including mid-month, month-end, and ad-hoc payroll processing.Process final payments for resignations, retirements, terminations, and retrenchments in a timely and accurate manner.Handle monthly statutory submissions and correspondence with relevant authorities such as EPF, SOCSO, and Inland Revenue Department (IRD).Administer monthly payments and non-statutory deductions for approximately 21 entities.Register new hires and ensure proper access to the HR payroll system or portal.Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to Finance, ensuring accurate and efficient posting to the accounting system.Oversee the annual flex points processing (by January) and monthly flex claims submissions.Act as the custodian of the HR payroll system, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and system integrity.Participate in HR system automation projects, providing input for process improvement.Support the annual performance management cycle, including bonus, increment, and promotion exercises.Raise and manage change requests related to personnel updates in accordance with company policies or regulatory changes.Administer employee lifecycle documentation, including records updates, leave, allowances, overtime, and other staff benefits.Ensure all exit documents are completed and received before processing final payments for leavers.Provide payroll-related data and insights to support HR analytics and reporting.Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requirements.Maintain accurate documentation, filing, and record-keeping for all payroll and employee-related matters.REQUIREMENTS Degree or higher diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in payroll administration or HR operations.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.Experience in managing or supporting audit processes.Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and payroll regulations.Highly detail-oriented, organised, and efficient, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
