Ready to collaborate on recruitment, training, and job redesign to support nationwide skills development?If your answers are “yes”, we want you to join us and make a significant impact on the employment and employability landscape today!We are seeking a highly effective Senior Executive/Manager, Workers InnovationS & Employability to join our Career Services & Partnership Group in our department dedicated to employment and employability!In this role, you will support NTUC’s sub-department. You will be involved in driving workforce innovation, strategic programme development, and providing operational support to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of workforce initiatives.Job Responsibilities1) Develop Strategies and Pilot Workforce InitiativesGather ground sensing and conduct analysis of worker needs by researching and analysing emerging labour market needs, industries that are hiring, potential future trends, etc. to ensure that e2i’s programmes remain relevant and impactful.Innovate, pilot, design, develop, implement, and maintain products and services for employment and employability needs of different worker groups. These can include project managing career initiatives such as organising job placement events, skills workshops, and employment activities; ensuring these initiatives cater to the different worker groups.Collaborate with internal teams across various divisions in e2i and NTUC to ensure that workforce initiatives align with e2i’s strategic goals, providing thought leadership and guidance on programme planning.Ensure that strategic programme objectives are achieved while collaborating with external partners such as government, communities, institutions, etc. to ensure smooth execution of workers’ initiatives.2) Career Services & Partnership Group (CSPG) Secretariat and Stakeholders EngagementsProvide secretariat support by coordinating meetings, documenting discussions, and tracking the progress of workstreams for cross-functional collaborations across teams.Provide operational and administrative support as needed for ongoing strategic planning efforts, ensuring alignment with goals, keeping stakeholders updated and aligned.Undertake any other duties, projects or assignments as required by the organisation.Job RequirementsPassionate about helping Singaporeans to find employment and enhance their employability.Self-initiated to drive process productivity, improvements, and capabilities development.Driven and able to contribute independently while working together with others.Innovative and able to adapt to changing circumstances.Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Able to relate to all levels of jobseekers/working people and cultivate strong relationships with partners.Strong project management skills in conceptualization, implementation, evaluation, and engagement with stakeholders.Experience in business development/project management/programme development will be advantageous.Flexible to accommodate to adjusted work schedules, evenings, and weekends when required to serve workers / jobseekers needs; in which time off will be offered.Designation and salary will commensurate with experience.We will only contact shortlisted candidates.
