Job Description
The Senior Executive Officer role sits within the Office of the Deputy Director-General, Portfolio Governance and Executive Services. You will be responsible for providing high level, effective and confidential executive support in a fast-paced executive environment. You will manage the administrative functions of the Office of the Deputy Director-General, utilising your proven ability to arrange conflicting priorities while exercising judgement and discretion.Your Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring high standards are maintained regarding the management of Ministerial and executive briefs, parliamentary documents and correspondence.Managing diary and coordinating documents that are of a high standard, are fit for purpose and delivered within specified or agreed timeframesDeveloping content which is complete, accurate and meets the standards of clarity and brevity consistent with procedures, set style guides and writing protocols.Ensuring confidential and sensitive information is managed appropriately.Developing, monitoring and evaluating systems and processes to ensure the effective management and workflow of ministerial and executive correspondence, reporting and responses.Developing and maintaining positive communication and working relationships with officers throughout the division, including senior executives, and providing advice as and when required.Maintaining effective relationships with the Director-General and Minister's offices and external agencies in relation to the timely provision of relevant executive and Ministerial documentsApplications to remain current for 12 months.Occupational group Administration
