As a key member of the Operations Team, the candidate will support mentoring practices for engineering staff to ensure continuity of training and quality results. This ensures effective uptime of the facilities, lower possible PUE, quality contractor and project activities and required maintenance. This role will be based in Incheon, Korea.Key responsibilities: Maintain the DC Critical Electrical, Cooling, Fire Protection and Building Management System (BMS) infrastructure per manufacturers’ recommendation and corporate specificationsSupervise operational maintenance work and renewal construction work with vendorsManage routine maintenance and emergency services, scheduling on a variety of critical systems, such as electrical facility, mechanical facility, security system and fire systemEstablish documentation of SOP, MOP, EOP and required documents related the DE’s DC facility operation and managementOn-call emergency response and support as necessary to maintain the highest level of integrity and availability to building systems, electrical infrastructure efficiency and lowest possible PUESet up MEP maintenance and monitoring policyInterface with building management systems and other automated tools and applications to ensure operational efficiencies and energy improvementWork directly with the customer and/or support staff to identify and troubleshoot as necessary to isolate the root cause of problemsLiaise with global team on global initiatives as well as process and procedures, implement those initiatives locally in KoreaActively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organizationThe successful candidate: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent skillsMore than 5 years of work experience in supporting a 24x7 data center’s facility managementElectrical, Fire or Mechanical engineer certification is preferredExtensive operational knowledge of electrical distribution (e.g. switch gear, transformers, automatic transfer switch, UPS, STS, Drups, battery management systems, generators, and PDUs to the branch level), cooling system, fire protection and building management systemAbility to respond to facility-related emergencies in a timely manner with sound recovery plansEffective communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with both internal and external customersStrong project management, trouble-shooting and organizational skillsExperience in telecommunications / digital infrastructure sectors is beneficialGood command in spoken and written EnglishA team player willing to be hands-on in a dynamic and fast paced environment
