Senior Finance Business Analyst

Join a team that’s transforming Finance across one of Australia’s largest organisations. We’re looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join the Finance Delivery team supporting major bank initiatives. You’ll play a key role in delivering enterprise-wide Finance change, working with diverse stakeholders across the Group.In this role, you will:Partner with stakeholders to define clear business requirements, scope and solution outcomesIdentify root causes, pain points and key improvement opportunitiesDocument and validate Finance requirements across a portfolio of projectsUse data-driven insights to support solution design, testing and deliveryAct as a key liaison between Finance, Technology, Business and Risk teamsProduce high-quality project documents (FRDs, BPS, SOPs etc.)Work closely with project and technology teams to ensure solutions meet Finance needsLead testing activities and support training for impacted Finance usersOversee implementation and post-implementation activitiesIdentify and manage business and project risksSupport project planning and delivery, removing blockers to ensure value realisationThe successful candidates will be:Highly driven with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilityExperienced in Finance and Accounting project environmentsConfident communicating with stakeholders across Finance and non-Finance teamsComfortable working across different project methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)Customer-focused, consultative, and committed to continuous improvementKnowledge & Experience Required:CA/CPA qualified or equivalent3–8+ years’ Business Analysis experienceExperience in Financial ServicesPrior experience in Finance/Accounting functionsStrong testing experience (scenario development & execution)Strong organisational, time management and negotiation skillsExposure to Agile delivery and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)To be considered, simply apply here, or send an updated CV to james@lansonpartners.com.
