Senior Finance ExecutiveRepresented by Hudson Recruitment on behalf of a leading global logistics organisationAbout the RoleHudson Recruitment is partnering with a prominent international logistics company to hire a Senior Finance Executive. This role is perfect for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys collaborating across teams to maintain accurate and efficient financial processes.You will be responsible for overseeing core finance activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger management, as well as reporting and compliance tasks. Your insights will help ensure smooth operations and support decision-making at the management level.What You’ll DoAccounts ReceivableGenerate and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule.Review job costings to ensure profitability and correctness.Monitor revenue recognition to align with accounting standards.Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing or costing issues.Keep weekly and monthly reports up to date.Accounts PayableProcess supplier invoices in line with company policies and approvals.Ensure all supporting documents (POs, delivery notes, costings) match invoice details.Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.Execute approved payments within agreed timelines.General Ledger & ReportingPrepare journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments.Deliver weekly and monthly financial reports, highlighting variances, risks, and trends.Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.Compliance & Process ImprovementEnsure all transactions meet company policies, contractual obligations, and local regulations.Maintain clear and accurate records to support audits.Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance efficiency.What We’re Looking ForDiploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–4 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles.Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, data analysis).Experience with ERP systems is preferred.Familiarity with Power BI or Power Automate is a plus.Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills.Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Why This RoleJoin a reputable global logistics organisation known for its collaborative culture and operational excellence.
