Senior Finance Manager

An Engineering Company is Looking for a Senior Finance Manager (based in Petaling Jaya)Your new companyThe company is a fast-growing industrial gas provider in Malaysia. It focusses on delivering high-purity gases and large-scale supply solutions to key sectors such as steel, semiconductors, and renewable energy. With ongoing investments in advanced air separation facilities and green technologies, the company is committed to supporting industrial growth and sustainability across the region. Your new roleAs one of the key people in the team, you will be in charge of:Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal control policies.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external stakeholders.Support business operations and provide financial insights to aid decision-making.Review and enhance financial processes and systems for efficiency and control.Participate in strategic initiatives including cost optimisation and business expansion.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in the role, you will need to be:Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) preferred.Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., MFRS/IFRS) and tax regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in financial systems (SAP) and MS ExcelWhat you'll get in returnIn return for your contribution, you will receive:Annual salary up to MYR216,000Lucrative bonus based on performanceBe a part of a growing multinational company in MalaysiaWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Edward Yip at +60378906211 or email your CV to Edward.Yip@hays.com.my now.
