Committed to mining, Avesoro aims to provide sustainable value to communities, employees, and stakeholders in the countries where it operates.Avesoro is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Specialist to join our finance team based in Istanbul. As part of the Finance Department, you will support daily financial operations and assist in ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal group procedures.This position offers an opportunity to develop within a dynamic international environment, providing hands-on exposure to financial transactions, reporting, and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the organization and recording of daily financial transactions in the ERP system.Verify and archive financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.Execute and follow up on daily bank transactions, including payments and FX operations.Maintain and monitor cash records and contribute to weekly cash flow updates.Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and data entries.Support communication and documentation processes with banks and local authorities.Ensure timely and accurate execution of statutory obligations such as payroll, SGK, and tax payments.Prepare required documentation for internal and external audits.Collaborate closely with accounting and senior finance team members on month-end processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury operations within corporate environments.Preferably experienced in audit firms.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Logo).Good understanding of daily banking operations, payment processes, and local tax obligations.Good command of English (written and spoken).Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.Team-oriented, responsible, and capable of following processes end-to-end.Based in Istanbul or able to commute comfortably to the company’s Maslak office.
