📢 We’re Hiring: Senior Financial Accountant (Full-Time, Nieuwegein HQ)Konica Minolta Sensing Europe B.V.Konica Minolta with the HQ in Japan, is a global leader in high-precision optical and imaging technologies. Our color analyzers, spectrophotometers and measurement instruments support quality control in manufacturing industries worldwide. With 110+ employees across EMEA, our European HQ in Nieuwegein is the hub of our financial operations. We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our close-knit Finance team of six. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding the financial continuity of our organization and supporting both internal and external reporting cycles. You’ll report directly to the Manager Corporate Finance & Control.🔹 What you will doMonthly, Quarterly, and Annual Closing & Reporting, including budget and forecast support.Responding to various reporting inquiries (e.g., government statistics).Managing External Audit processes and preparing Annual Statutory Financial Statements.Handling all aspects of Corporate Income Tax (CIT), including filing, TP, and tax audit support.Managing and responding to J-SOX and internal compliance matters, including SOP maintenance.Handling SAP/BI tool issues and system-related projects (e.g., S/4 implementation).Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and supporting VAT tax audits.Reviewing the team on tasks such as BS reconciliation, GL maintenance, and bank access management.Managing other ad-hoc financial projects.🔹 What makes you successfulBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.A relevant professional accounting qualification is highly desirable (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or RA).A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an all-round or similar financial accounting role.Proven, advanced knowledge of MS Excel and solid Bookkeeping principles.Knowledge of and exposure to complex compliance frameworks (e.g., J-SOX) and Dutch/European tax matters (CIT, VAT) is a strong plus.Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and BI tools is highly desirable.A Self-starter mentality: the ability to proactively identify challenges within assigned duties and propose effective solutions.Fluency in professional English is required; proficiency in Dutch or Japanese is a significant advantage.Affinity with Japanese work culture and intercultural collaborationYou are currently based in The Netherlands (preferably in the Randstad area)Available for 40 hours per week🔹 What we offerInternational environment with diverse responsibilitiesAbove-average salary30 vacation days + additional tenure daysNon-contributory pension scheme (rare in NL)13th month + 8% holiday allowanceMonthly contribution to health insurance & home office costsFull reimbursement of commuting costsHybrid working model (during reporting week in the office)Intention to offer a permanent contract after one year🔹 How to applyPlease apply directly via the apply button with your CV and motivation.
