Statutory Audit & IFRS Senior Specialist About the RoleWe are looking for a high-potential accounting professional to join our international finance team and support the completion of statutory audits for our German entities and the implementation of IFRS standards across the group.This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a former Big 4 auditor (minimum 3–5 years) with solid IFRS exposure who is now eager to apply their expertise in an international business environment.You will work closely with our European finance leadership, external auditors, and the wider accounting team in Manila to help deliver compliant and high-quality financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the statutory audit process for several German legal entities, ensuring timely preparation and submission of audit evidence.Maintain and track audit PBC lists, follow up with process owners, and ensure documentation completeness and consistency.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, and supporting schedules for HGB and IFRS audits.Support the implementation of IFRS standards (esp. IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9) initially in Excel, later in system implementation.Assist in the design and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with both HGB and IFRS.Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and the European finance team on technical queries.Participate in process improvement and automation projects to transition from manual spreadsheets to system-based reporting.Contribute to group consolidation and reporting tasks as needed.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.CPA qualification (or equivalent) required.3–6 years of experience in Big 4 audit, ideally having progressed to Senior or Assistant Manager level.Solid understanding of IFRS standards, especially IFRS 15 (Revenue), IFRS 16 (Leases), and IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments).Hands-on experience preparing audit workpapers, testing balances, and coordinating multi-entity audits.Exposure to statutory reporting for European or multinational clients a strong plus.Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal.Strong analytical mindset, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently with teams across time zones.Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle and Unit4 an advantage.Key AttributesSmart, curious, and eager to learn.Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity (e.g. manual IFRS implementation in Excel).Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.Thrives in a high-accountability, fast-moving environment.What We OfferWork cross-functionally with finance and audit teams across Europe and Manila to support statutory and IFRS initiatives.Real exposure to multi-year audits, IFRS transformation, and system implementation.A culture of learning and development, ideal for someone ambitious and technically minded.Competitive salary package aligned with senior-level expertiseHybrid work flexibility and exposure to international standards.
