Rapidly growing manufacturing company in the South Bay area is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. This Senior Financial Analyst will take ownership of developing the financial infrastructure that drives smarter decisions across the business. This is a high-impact role focused on building robust financial models, producing actionable insights, and shaping the future of our financial planning process.Responsibilities:Analyze financial data and provide insights to support executive decision-making and fulfill company & departmental information needs.Development and maintenance of financial models and forecasts, and the tracking of key operational metrics.Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for operational and financial improvements.Direct the cost analysis and pricing review processes and conduct periodic profitability reviews, including margin exception reporting.Mine wide-ranging company data sets to uncover key insights and drivers for improving business operations.Assist in the development of KPIs and the communication of performance metrics and expectations to various teams across the organization.Increase departmental productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools, improving processes, and creating professional dashboards.Interact regularly with key individuals from various departments across the organization to relay data and coordinate on reporting needs.Partner with accounting personnel to deliver regular, inciteful reviews of financial statements.Gather and present strategic and useful information on industry trends and economic conditions.Assist with special projects, including M&A evaluations and executive presentations.Skills & Qualifications:1+ years of experience in a relevant FP&A focused role.Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.Must have strong analytical skills and experience with building models, financial reporting, budgeting, and mining data for insights.Manufacturing or CPG cost analysis experience is a plus.Experience and understanding of business intelligence reporting & visualization tools highly valued (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects).Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.Possesses a strong desire to streamline functions and find unique ways to add value as well as a passion to continue to learn and grow.Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
