Senior Financial Analyst

We are partnering with a leading financial services company seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A and corporate finance team. This role supports month-end results, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insights that help guide business performance.ResponsibilitiesSupport the month-end close process with P&L, review, variance analysis, and identifying follow-up itemsPrepare clear financial commentary that explains key drivers and performance insightsParticipate in budgeting and forecasting cycles, coordinating inputs across teamsAnalyze variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year to identify trendsReview revenue and cost assumptions to assess forecast reasonability and highlight risks or opportunitiesTrack financial risks & opportunities across the P&L and collaborate on action plansBuild and enhance KPI dashboards and reporting packages for business reviewsConduct profitability and performance analysis across products, clients, or regionsSupport expense monitoring and identify areas for efficiencyContribute to strategic projects, modelling, and ad-hoc analysis for leadershipSupport integration or project work related to growth or planningPartner with business and finance leaders to improve processes and financial understandingQualificationsUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fieldCPA, CMA, or equivalent designation preferred5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experienceExperience in insurance, brokerage, or financial services is an assetAbility to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and operate in a dynamic environmentHigh learning agility and proactive ownership of deliverables
