This team is focused on strategic finance and special projects like long range bookings forecasting, new product launches, and pricing strategy. This team also manages the forecast process for GitLab’s business cases and works on how to structure complex data across various functions and design assumptions for bookings-related financial models. This role reports into a Senior Manager and will work closely with the Vice President of Finance and various business partners on financial analyses that drive GitLab’s earnings guidance and are presented to GitLab’s C-level executives and Board of Directors.This role is a hybrid between a top-line Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Strategy & Business Operations (BizOps) role, so will require the ability to spot opportunities and risks across GitLab’s business, develop hypotheses, pressure test inputs, forecast outputs and execute in-depth analyses to translate data into insights and make recommendations to leadership based on findings. The team collaborates cross-functionally with sales leaders, revenue operations, product, and marketing to perform financial and strategic analyses to support decision-making and accelerate growth.This is the perfect role for an analytical team-player who wants to help grow new businesses from the ground up. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US.
