In the next couple of years, we will be considerably expanding our operations all around Europe and you will have the opportunity to be part of it. You will be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of our accounting, and solid reporting to our stakeholders. What does it mean? Finance is at the very core of our business processes.What You’ll Be DoingBeing responsible for accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and financial reporting as well as ad hoc reportingConsolidating group entities and preparation of consolidated and company-only financial statements under the relevant accounting principlesCoordinating the external auditAligning with the business on new product features and assessing the accounting impactIdentifying data requirements and setting up reporting to comply with new crypto regulationTaking initiative to implement process improvements and further strengthening the control function on daily/periodic accounting processesOptimize closing procedures and internal controls over reportingProviding accounting guidance to the financial accountantsCarrying out ad-hoc analysis requests from management and other stakeholdersWhat We Look ForDegree in Finance, Accounting or Business administrationMin. 8-10 years of experienceStrong knowledge of external reporting (Dutch GAAP)Strong stakeholder management skillsOrganized, flexible, detail-orientatedExcellent communication skillsAbility to multitask, solve problems and take responsibility for resolutionsFluent in English (spoken and written)At Bitvavo, we believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation, foster creativity, and lead to better outcomes.
