Senior Financial ControllerDriving financial excellence in an international contextAs Senior Financial Controller, you will report to the Director Finance Controlling and hold a key role within the Group Finance function. You will have overall responsibility for Financial Controlling, ensuring valid, timely, and business-relevant reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Beyond delivering high-quality reporting, you will take a proactive role in strengthening and further developing controlling processes and governance frameworks across the organization. You will act as a trusted sparring partner to finance peers in group subsidiaries in India and Canada and contribute to elevating financial standards and best practices across the Group.Your primary tasks will include:Oversee and take ownership of all financial reporting; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with accounting standards (DK GAAP/US GAAP) and relevant regulations.As part of a GROUP function in DK, set frameworks and provide guidance for entities in Canada and India.Coordinate annual audits and act as key liaison with external auditors.Drive continuous process improvements and optimize financial operations and internal controls.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and transparent financial data.Strengthen and further develop internal controls and financial procedures.Together with IT, play a key role in optimizing the use of SAPLead and contribute to finance-related projects, including CAPEX and R&D follow-ups with business and ensuring correct accounting treatment.Advanced analytical tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and financial performance follow-up.Success in this role is measured not only by timely and accurate delivery, but by your ability to take ownership, challenge existing practices constructively, and actively contribute to the ongoing professionalization of the finance function. You are motivated by continuous learning and see this role as a platform for further development – both technically and in terms of broader business impact.Experienced financial profile with ambition and driveYou hold a relevant financial education, preferably a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing (or similar), combined with several years of experience in Financial Controlling, ideally from a multinational company.You bring solid experience with financial reporting based on Danish accounting principles and legislation, and you are confident taking full ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.Today, you might be a Financial Controller with clear ambitions to step into a more international and professionally ambitious environment, where growth and development opportunities are visible and tangible. Alternatively, you may already hold a manager title in a smaller or more static organization but feel that your professional development has slowed and that further career progression opportunities are limited.As a person, you are robust, persistent, resourceful, and detail oriented. You are hands-on in your approach yet operate with a broader business mindset and an ambition to grow – both professionally and in terms of responsibility. Strong communication skills are essential, and you communicate effortlessly in both written and spoken English. You live no more than an hour’s drive from the workplace in Vejle.You are analytical and structured, with strong problem-solving capabilities and a natural drive to improve and professionalize processes.
